There was an attempt to set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of people drawing manga in one location on 4th August 2012, this was part of the official launch events for the new Bugis+ (formerly known as Illuma)! There was also a Touhou Hisoutensoku tournament and the all-new TKG Arena card game competition! TKG was selling art books, postcards, and demonstrated both the TKG Arena card game, and manga drawing skills. It was really awesome and I loved all the cosplays! I even bought a Japanese drama serial for $10> Wooo Hooo! xD

Unfortunately I didn’t get to cosplay anything there D: but
seeing that so many people appreciated and indulged in the culture of cosplay
made me feel overjoyed. Cosplay has gone a far way and I’m proud that people
just love it now. ^-^
